Youth & Leadership: Your Life Purpose Statement

My key passion is to help young adults find confidence in their distinct leadership traits.

The Wellman Method is dedicated to leadership development. I encourage young people to see themselves as leaders, with a responsibility to impact their worlds and to create positive social change.

The Life Purpose Statement is geared toward maximizing strengths so that young adults are stand outs in character and leadership.

With the unique Life Purpose Statement interview process this service is available to everyone, no matter where they live, via phone or Skype tele- or videoconferencing. A single brief interview will typically reveal innate purpose and meaning.

An additional option is coaching in Leadership Poise, to communicate your Life Purpose Statement in any situation. Those preparing for interviews at schools, have the option of being coached in Leadership Poise. This will distinguish them further in personal presentation.

Life Purpose Statement

I collaborate with youth to create a meaningful Life Purpose Statement.

Your Life Purpose Statement is an organized, multi-faceted declaration of you as a leader and global citizen. It includes your personality, your experiences, values, family, and culture. The result is your personal brand, embracing your leadership skills, life goals, and career plans.

Personal Brand. Your personal brand is your distinct value. People want to know you. They want to invest in you. So give them a reason. When it comes to choosing a school, a major, or an educational path that is meaningful to you, you have now found a way to know your direction, to increase your self-esteem, and to make the best impression possible.

Educational Planning. The Life Purpose Statement complements services provided by your educational advisor.

Life Goals. Young people begin formulating their life goals earlier and earlier. The Wellman Method is a support for these processes, recognizing individual’s intrinsic strengths, family stories, cultural values, and general interests to generate your Life Purpose Statement. The Life Purpose Statement will help to integrate and create choices from multiple paths.

Career Planning. The Life Purpose Statement is a marker for integrating your education plan and your career plan with scholarly publishing.

Leadership Poise

Leadership Poise. The successful college or college-prep school interview uses self-marketing through fluid and clear communication. The Wellman Method supports enduring values and interests, to develop a cohesive, natural, and impactful self-presentation that is authentic to one’s unique personality. These qualities all add up to Leadership Poise.

Admissions Interviews. I coached the only Korean student to be accepted into all 9 schools applied for.
